I don’t subscribe to many magazines (I’m pretty reformed, but our magazine bin is always full to capacity). But as much as I read on-line, green or otherwise, I do like to keep things on hand for browsing or reference that I don’t need to turn on my computer for. KIWI is one of them. KIWI Magazine is a bi-monthly, family-centered publication with a focus on natural and organic lifestyles, but like the fruit, is sweet and many shades of green. KIWI focuses on every aspect of eco-wellness, from health to food to clothing and the fun stuff. KIWI shares the desire held by all parents to create a safe, happy environment for our children that promotes growth and well-being.
The on-line KIWI experience is just as rewarding and brings the magazine even more to life. There’s an awesome recipes page, articles on everything from safe pregnancy to endangered species, a great blog and podcast and KIWI kids funpages to print out and keep your little ones busy all summer. There are also a bunch of newsletters for KIWI in your inbox, with coupons, green tips, and the new cooking club for kids newsletter (there’s no link, but a neat little box where you can enter your email address).
This week, one lucky winner will get a year subscription to KIWI! The rules are the same, as always. Please leave a comment here with an answer to this question - what’s your favorite aspect of KIWI Magazine? You have until next Monday, July 28th at midnight, PST to enter! Good luck!
This contest is now closed! Thanks to everyone for entering!
I love the kids section! This is a great magazine!
The Eco-Craft section would be most helpful for me because I’m always trying to think of neat things to do with the kids but my mind is not coming up with stuff on its on. Maybe because there’s too much on my mind with 3 kids and 1 on the way…I could use this help in my life!! This mag looks very fun and helpful.
I like how you put it “Many shades of green” for those of us who may be just getting into being green and don’t it pushed too much.
anything abouat kids is good
I like it all, but I always seem to flip to the recipes section first.
I love that they have a special section for social responsibility and activism.
I would LOVE to enter this, however that would be selfish since I already have a subscription to this magazine.
It’s one of my luxuries. Get one of the babies down at night, and sit in the living room with the other one while she plays and read this magazine. It has amazing ideas, and it’s a really fun read!

I have read KIWI magazine and loved it! It is just more than a family/kid magazine. There is something for everyone and it is really up to date and hip which is more than I can say for some of the other magazines for the same crowd.
Hi, A few years ago, I could find this wonderful magazine on the magazine racks here where I live. It hasn’t been available for awhile now. How fun it would be to win a subscription! It is summer and very hot, thus my favorite feature would be the “Eco-
Craft” right now! Please enter me in your delightful drawing. Many thanks, Cindi
Love that it focuses on a natural and organic lifestyle without sacrificing fun articles for the kids.

Would love the recipes! And any go-greener advice!
I love the recipes.
love the cooking
I love anything natural and organic! Great giveaway, thanks.
My favorite section would probably be the recipes. But, as a mom, I’d love the fact that they have everything I’d like to know/read about in one place - kid info, environmental info, recipes, etc. That is priceless!
I like the recipe section. We are trying to eat healthier and enjoy trying new recipes.
I like the Health section.
I love the whole magazine, but I like the recipes and the kids section. It gives me a lot of different ideas of things to do with my daughter. Thanks for the opportunity!
The kids sections and eco-crafts.
I like that it centers on things for kids as well. So many green magazines are just for adults!
I am all about the eco-crafts!
health section
the kids part
I know I would love this magazine! My 9 yr old (green Queen!)would love it too…. she loves to read my magazines, and this one would be great! Thanks!
Kid friendly recipes and the crafts are my favorite.
My kids are older and most parenting magazines gear towards babies. Like that this is for older kids
I love that Kiwi is ALL about being green and alternative living!
the kid recipes and crafts.
ECO-CRAFTS! (although I like the nutrition info, too)
I’m just getting on the green band wagon so this magazine looks like a huge help!!
Recently had a baby (4.5 months ago) and looking for ways to raise her in a “green lifestyle”. This magazine rocks!

The recipes are what draw me most to Kiwi magazine. Far often magazines feature recipes that few would attempt but the ones listed in Kiwi are tempting and easy to attempt.
recipes are always nice.
I love that it has environmentally activities and tips for real people.
I love that they focus on healthy living and the eco lifestyle!
the healthy focus and the practical tips
definitely the recipes!
I love the eco-crafts. I am always looking for projects for the kids. The ones they share are not only a lot of fun, but make us feel good too!
I love the craft and recipe sections!
I like the Kiwi Kids section, particularly the nutrition part!
At a recent playgroup the conversation among the moms turned to parenting-type magazines. Two women raved about Kiwi, and it sounds like one that I’d really enjoy. I’m especially interested in the eco-crafts section.
im hooked on the recipes
I like the KIWIKIDS fun pages. lots of great stuff in this magazine!
Love the recipes!
The recipes is my favorite.
I love that it has a natural/organic focus, but is still centered on families and kids and fun. I think it would be a great alternative to some of the more mainstream magazines (and their multiple cupcake recipes- hey, I love cupcakes, but there’s more to life, ya know?
I like crafts
